Terms & Conditions

Although we do our best to describe our products as accurately and honestly as possible we do understand that things may not always work out. Therefore please read and fully understand our terms and conditions detailed below.  Details on warranty and conditions can also be found below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Product prices; Our prices displayed on the website are inclusive of VAT and discounts where applicable. Some products have delivery included within the price and others are plus delivery, plus or including delivery will be clearly stated within the delivery information box for each product. Delivery outwith UK Mainland may carry differing/ additional rates of shipping. Please call us for an accurate postage price if you live in any part of Ireland, North of Scotland or island. Occasionally products may accidentally display at the incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel any order that has been placed for a product with an incorrect price.
  • Payment: We offer a secure means of ordering and paying for your products via this site. All online credit card payment details are not accessible to ourselves or any third party. Additional payment methods such as BACS, CHAPS, and Cheque are all accepted but goods cannot be shipped until funds have cleared into our bank account.
  • We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods you order before your order can be accepted. Our acceptance of your order will bring into existence a legally binding contract between us. Acceptance will occur on either the debiting of your credit card or the clearance of your cheque. A contract will not affect your statutory rights
  • Delivery: Most products are kept in stock, and we aim to dispatch all goods the same day. Any product that is not in stock or is a special order will be dispatched either directly from the manufacturer or by ourselves when back in stock. You will be informed within 1 day if any item is special order or out of stock and an expected delivery date shall be given. If this is not suitable then a full refund shall be offered.
  • As we cannot control the delivery of goods and although 95% of orders arrive on time Alpha Delta Machinery co Ltd shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be held liable for delays caused to customers work commitments due to your order not arriving on time.
  • Alpha Delta Machinery co Ltd shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternate machinery or labour. We will not be liable for compensation of any kind due to late delivery of machinery or failure of machinery or damage to property from delivery.
  • Delivery of products is usually 1-2 days from receipt of order and clearance of payment. Delivery of special order goods varies and an estimated shipping date shall be given within 1 day of ordering.
  • Products will be despatched to your preferred address directly from our distributors. A detailed receipt, together with a copy of the credit card payment receipt, will be posted separately to you.
  • Spare and Replacement Parts Orders
    Parts advice and orders can only be researched based on the information supplied by the customer.It is your responsibility as the customer to check the information you provide is correct for your machinery.
    Special Order spare parts are supplied on a non-returnable basis. No refunds can be given for parts that have been ordered specially for the customer which ultimately turn out to be incorrect.
    A Special Order is when the customer has provided the details, description and /or part number themselves.
  • Product Warranties: All garden machinery products carry the appropriate manufacturers’ warranties. Warranty information displayed in our online catalogue applies to DOMESTIC use of products. For COMMERCIAL use, different warranties usually apply – please enquire for details.
  •  Product Warranties: (Alpha badged equipment) All Alpha badged equipment comes as standard with a 12 month return to base (RTB) warranty and at our discretion an additional period of 12 months parts warranty. For warranty repairs goods must be returned to us for evaluation unless otherwise agreed. All transport costs shall be covered by the customer.
  • Cancellation Rights: In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations and the SafeBuy Web Trader Code you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days, commencing from the day after the day you receive the goods. However, you must ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging. You must return them within 15 days of the date of their delivery to you to our contact address at your own cost and risk. We will refund the price you paid for such goods within 30 days of the date of cancellation provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the the condition they were in when delivered to you.
  • Faulty Goods: If the goods turn out to be faulty or different from those you ordered, you may return them after notifying us of the problem with the goods and your intention to return them. You must return them within 30 days of the date of their delivery to you to our contact address at your own cost and risk. We will refund the price you paid for such goods provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you.  
  • Privacy Policy: Alpha Delta Machinery co are committed to protecting your privacy and collect only the information about the consumer that is submitted at the time of ordering or enquiring about our goods and services. The information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) will be used only for the purposes of fulfilling orders and answering enquiries.
  • Consumers’ personal details are handled with total confidentiality and stored securely by . Such details will never be passed to third parties nor be used by us to send you marketing material. In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Act, we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).
